We have a specialty young female, teddy lionhead, rabbit named Buttercup.
She is what’s considered a teddy Lionhead meaning she is not only double maned, but comes from a select European bloodline which carries the Teddy genes(makes them super fluffy almost like mini angoras).
Notice those bright blue eyes? Those are because she is an also a Vienna marked which comes from her mom who was a very special Blue Eyed White teddy lionhead. Her dad is a Japanese harlequin color which is where she gets her black ears.
She is almost 4 months old and will be a maximum size of about 3 to 3 1/2 pounds.
She has been raised totally indoors and uncaged in her own rabbit room with our family and children, and is very friendly and enjoys being held. So much that I’ve actually brought her shopping with me before and she just sits in my arm.
She is also litter trained!
